Biking
Want to hit the many beautiful trails in the Willmar Lakes Area, but don’t have a bike? Then stop at one of the many BikeWillmar bike share hubs to rent one and start exploring the trails! We are home to the 22 mile Glacial Lakes State Trail where you can experience the beauty of nature all while taking pit stops for delicious food and drinks and even a souvenir or two. You can also hit up the beautiful road route around Green Lake in Spicer, the Eagle Lake Trail, or the many beautiful trails throughout Robbins Island Regional Park.

Are you more of the adventurous type? Then rent a fat tire bike from Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center and enjoy the 4 miles of mountain bike trails that will take you across the prairies and through the woods. No matter which trail you choose, you’re sure to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in the Willmar Lakes Area.

Kayaking
Need a way to cool off in the heat of a Minnesota summer? Why not take to the Crow River or one of the many beautiful lakes in our area? Don’t have a kayak? Then call Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center to rent one today and enjoy the calm waters of Lake Florida. The Wild Oar and Green Lake Rentals also have kayaks and paddle boards available to rent.

Boating
Want a little more speed on the water? Then rent a boat or pontoon from one of our Recreational Rental locations by clicking here. If you’re staying at one of the beautiful campgrounds in our area, you can also rent one of their boats, pontoons, canoes, or kayaks since you are a guest of theirs.
