Winter Trail Report for 1-6-23

The Glacial Lakes State Trail has a 7 inch groomed surface with very good conditions reported for snowmobiling. Roughly 15 inches of snow covers the ground along the trail.

At Sibley State Park as of noon on Jan. 6th: Classic Ski trails are about 75% completed. The Skate Ski loop is completed, but soft, so fair to good skiing on that due to the soft base. Snowmobile trails are partially groomed and in good condition with an 8 inch base. Local snow depth is 20″.

All of Prairie Woods Environmental Center‘s ski trails have been packed and tracked for skiing on 1/4/23!!! There are several places that have drifted in. We are regrooming today (1/5/23) and should be done by 4pm. Please do not hike or snowshoe on the ski trail. Next to them is fine 🙂
