Trail Report for 8-13-26

The weather is starting to cool down a bit, making this a perfect time to get outside and explore the trails throughout the Willmar Lakes Area! Whether you’re looking for a leisurely walk, a scenic bike ride or a chance to enjoy nature, there are plenty of trails to discover.

The Glacial Lakes State Trail, Robbins Island Regional Park, Sibley State Park and Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center are great places to enjoy the late-summer scenery and get some fresh air. With comfortable temperatures expected for the remainder of August, it’s a great time to lace up your shoes, hop on your bike and explore.

And even with cooler temperatures, don’t forget to bring plenty of water and apply sunscreen before heading out!

Summer isn’t over yet—there’s still plenty of time to hit the trails!
