Trail Report for 7-24-25
Glacial Lakes State Trail: Asphalt remains in good shape. Expect heavier use on weekends. Midday heat can be strong—best to ride mornings or evenings.
Sibley State Park: Trails are dry with minimal mud. Mount Tom delivers wide, green-canopy views. Mosquitoes remain active near lowlands.
Prairie Woods ELC: Trails are freshly mowed and easy to hike. Wildlife activity, especially deer and songbirds, peaks in early mornings.
General Conditions: July brings high temps and strong sun—pack water and sunscreen. Bugs are still present, though ticks taper off by mid-month.
