Sibley State Park Trail Report for 3-7-18
Ski trails are ungroomed and remain in poor condition. Since the snow events of late February, we had a warming trend last week and snow melted. While we did have a snow event yesterday, the ski trails are ungroomed, due to not enough snow. Snow that is available is sticky, due to warm weather. Please be aware that parts of ski trails are bare, and that sticks and other debris may be sticking out in some areas. The Pond View hiking/snowshoe trail has not been packed since the new snowfall. The sledding hill is snow covered. Snowmobile trails were groomed 2 weeks ago. Trails in the open are nearly bare. Riders should still watch for the orange reassurance signs and not venture off of designated trails. Local snow depth is 2-5 inches.
