Sibley State Park Trail Report for 1-3-19
Staff have been able to pack all ski trails and groom a limited number of trails. The Parker Fremberg Trail has track set for traditional diagonal stride skiing. The Mt Tom road and skate ski trail have been groomed with the Mt Tom road in good pretty good condition. Conditions will not last with the higher temperatures predicted for the weekend, you may expect deteriorating conditions. The wooded areas have a 2 inch packed base but open areas have a 0 – 1 inch packed base. We will update trail status when we get additional snowfall. The sliding hill is snow covered and packed. Snowmobile trails are mostly snow covered but un-groomed. Snowmobilers should use extra caution on area lakes.
