Sibley State Park Fall Color Report for 9-17-20
CONFETTI! With strong winds yesterday a few colorful leaves were blown off the trees that are starting to turn towards fall. The top of Mount Tom will give you peaceful view of the tree tops.
Sibley State Park is mostly oak forest but pockets of aspen and birch are starting to turn yellow and red. However, a yellow tint is starting to envelope the forest canopy.
Soaring vultures can be seen riding the wind from the high hill of Mount Tom.
