Terms & Conditions of Home Brewer Competition:
  • Each craft beer entry will be $5 each – Participant can enter as many beers as they want
  • Each beer must consist of at least two – 12 oz brown bottles at minimum per entry and must be labeled properly with our Beer Labels
  • Barrel aged, wild ales, mead, ciders and brett fermented beers can be entered for feedback, but will not win or be brewed at the brewery
  • Beers will be judged based on the 2021 BJCP Guidelines
  • The deadline to register for the home brewer competition is February 25.
  • Drop off day/time: February 26 – March 1 at the following locations: Intuition Brewing, Foxhole Brewhouse or Goat Ridge Brewing Co. during their open hours
  • The top 2 best in show will be able to brew their beer with the brewers at Intuition Brewing and Foxhole Brewhouse and it will be sold at those respective locations – *Recipes may need to be modified based on ingredients and capabilities of the brewing equipment
  • Top 2 will also receive free tickets to Mid-Minnesota Toast where awardees will be announced – March 17 at Foxhole Brewhouse in Willmar from 5-9pm
  • Feedback will be provided between March and April to all entries via email

Matt Semaan – Dunkles Bock, “I’ll Dunkle Your Bock,” was chosen as one of the Top 2 Best in Show
Brian Stuedemann and Shannon Edmundson – Belgian Dark Strong Ale, “Dark Side of the Monk,” was chosen as one of the Top 2 Best in Show
