Fishing Report for 2-23-21
A variety of techniques are working well for panfish, including set lines with a minnow, jigging spoons with spikes or minnow heads, and tungsten jigs with spikes or waxworms. Most fish are coming from the deep basin areas, however, some are beginning to migrate into the shallows to spawn. Foot Lake and Diamond Lake have had the most active panfish and walleye as well the northeastern bay of South Long Lake between dusk and 2am. With continued warm temperatures, lake access has quickly become an issue. Be careful as you head out on the ice.
