Fishing Report for 2-16-21
Anglers continue to take lots of nice fish despite the cold temperatures. Panfish action has been the most consistent lately when using waxworms or spikes on a small jig. Active jigging is key to catching the most crappie and anglers are finding them in 15-25 feet of water. It’s been harder to find active walleye this past week, but jigging spoons and minnow heads are proving to be the most successful. The bite should improve in the next week or so as the weather warms up a bit.
