Fishing Report for 10-13-20

Fall fishing remains excellent on many area lakes. Walleye anglers continue to take the majority of fish with jigs and minnows. The depths vary by lake size and clarity so you may need to move around a bit to find them. Slowing down your live bait rigs from traditional summer speeds should increase your catch rates as well. Crappie fishing has been good with crappie moving away from the weedlines and towards the basin holes as the water temperatures drop. The bass are in their full fall patterns and tend to be more active the deeper you find them. Some big northern pike are being caught near the weeds when using big minnows or casted baits. Most water temperatures are in the 50s and are expected to drop dramatically over the next week or so.
