Fishing Report for 9-19-17

The bite has improved greatly in many lakes throughout Kandiyohi County. Walleye are active all over, you just need to find them. Use your electronic device to find them and you should be good. Minnows or crawlers on jigs or lindy rigs should work very well. Panfish continue to head deeper, away from the shallow weeds. Large northern pike are active everywhere as well. When fishing minnows near the weeds for walleye, don’t be surprised if you nab a hungry pike.
