Fishing Report for 8-8-17
The fish remain active in the Willmar Lakes Area. The best walleye bite has been found on Green Lake lately with the fish being pulled anywhere from 15-35 feet. Diamond and Eagle Lake are also putting out some walleye. Northern pike and bass are biting on just about every lake in our area. With leeches being done for the year, anglers are sticking with wax worms and fathead minnows. Water temperature is between 75-80 degrees on most area lakes.
