Fishing Report for 8-1-17
The dog days of summer have arrived as we start the month of August. Not as many anglers out lately, but those that are fishing are having success. Green Lake is giving up walleye in the 30-40 foot range in the early morning and evening hours. Eagle Lake and Diamond Lake are also producing active walleye. Crappie action has been good near the weed lines in the 8-15 foot range on many area lakes. Northern pike anglers are taking the most fish while trolling and using crank baits on Long Lake, Eagle Lake and Big Kandiyohi Lake.
