Fishing Report for 7-5-17
Many folks were out enjoying the lakes over the 4th of July weekend, however it was more recreational and not many people fishing. Shore fishing and fishing off the docks remains active on most area lakes. Reports of active sunfish, crappie, bass and Northern pike came from Eagle Lake, Lake Florida and Diamond Lake. Bait of choice over the weekend was a mix between angle worms and wax worms. The lake temperatures are averaging above 70 degrees and will continue to warm up as this next week of hot weather moves through.
