Fishing Report for 7-26-16
Few people have been out fishing on these hot and humid days recently. But those that are getting out are still catching some great action on Eagle Lake, Diamond Lake, Nest Lake and Green Lake. Sunfish, bass and northerns have been crazy on most lakes and can be found around some sort of structure for them to hide better. Walleye haven’t been as active, but have been found in the deeper waters in the early morning or late evening. A bottom bouncer or a spinner and crawler have been the bait of choice for walleye while mainly small jigs with wax worms or crawlers are working best for sunfish and crappie. Spinner baits and buzz baits have proven successful for the anglers looking for bass.
