Fishing Report for 4-30-19

All the lakes are now free of ice in the Willmar Lakes Area! Anglers continue to catch crappie in the shallows of Lake Andrew and Elkhorn Lake as well as by the culvert on Foot Lake. Nest Lake continues to put out crappie and sunfish under the bridge and in the bay. Lake Florida is also seeing active crappie near the dam. If you’re looking for active perch, head over to Big Kandiyohi Lake as reports of nice sized perch are starting to come in. Get your boats ready, purchase your 2019 fishing license, and stock up on bait as this weekend is going to be perfect for a fishing adventure in the Willmar Lakes Area!
