Fishing Report for 4-18-17
The fish are starting to move more toward the shallows this time of year. Any kind of bait right now could work as the fish are hungry. Most anglers stick to wax worms, crawlers and minnows though. After the next couple days of wind and rain we should have a gorgeous weekend ahead of us. We would suggest heading out to Willmar Lake and Foot Lake for some good crappie action or heading over to Nest Lake Bay and the northeastern corner of Eagle Lake for some crappie, bass and sunfish action. Make sure you have your new 2017 fishing license with you as you fish. The West Central Bass and Central Lakes Bass Leagues will start after Memorial Day this year.
