Fishing Report for 3-14-17

Although the recent cold temperatures are creating more ice, it’s not the quality ice that we’re hoping for. With the recent snow cover and the upcoming warmer temperatures the ice does not look stable enough to walk on. However, there are some anglers shore fishing with the open water and catching a few panfish. The activity of the panfish should increase as the weather warms up. We continue to look ahead to spring, the warmer weather and the fishing opener! Just a reminder to purchase your 2017 fishing license at your local bait shop.
