Fishing Report for 2-28-17
Although there might be 12 inches of ice on some of the area lakes, it’s only as good as about four inches of quality ice. If you head out, walking is all we recommend. Also, be sure to check the quality and thickness of the ice as you move around as it can vary greatly this time of year. Anglers have been spotted on Willmar Lake, Foot Lake, Elkhorn Lake, Ringo Lake and Green Lake the past week. Just a reminder that new fishing licenses are required as of March 1st, so pick yours up today!
