Fishing Report for 1-31-17

Anglers are still catching fish on most of the lakes in our area. Crappie and walleye have been caught on Norway Lake, Willmar Lake and Foot Lake. If you’re looking for sunfish, crappie and Northern pike you should head over to the northwest and northeast corner of Green Lake for some action. The main bite on Big Kandiyohi Lake and Lake Lillian the past week has been perch and walleye. Be careful as you head out as the lake accesses are starting to deteriorate with the warm weather we are having and there is standing water on the lakes after last night’s rain. The cool down this weekend should help solidify the water on the lakes and improve the accesses.
