Virtual Tours of Popular Willmar Lakes Area Attractions

If you’re not comfortable visiting our favorite Willmar Lakes Area attractions in person yet, you can still “virtually visit” them and learn about them. Check out our list of local attractions and sites that you can virtually tour.

First up, Sibley State Park has an awesome virtual tour! If you’ve never checked it out, you should. You’ll get to see the many beautiful views from the interpretive center, the group center, Mount Tom, Little Mount Tom, the Group Camp, Lakeview Campground, and the swimming beach all without any threat of mosquitoes or wood ticks! Now for a few quick videos of Eagle Creek Golf Course, an eighteen-hole semi-private golf club, available to the public. Don’t miss the opportunity to play one of the finest and most picturesque golf courses in West Central Minnesota.

Next, let’s head into Willmar and check out the view of Robbins Island Regional Park. Another great destination for those that love trails, disc golf, fishing, amazing playgrounds, sand volleyball, soccer, water sports and so much more!

If we travel to the southwestern side of Willmar, you’ll be able to see the Dorothy Olson Aquatic Center and the amazing fun you and your family can have each and every summer!

Now if we head to the northern part of Kandiyohi County, we’ll find one of the most popular beaches in the Willmar Lakes Area at Games Lake County Park. This beach is popular not only to the campers staying at the park, but also to the many locals. With a sandy lake bottom, a slide, a raft, and rental equipment to enjoy the lake even more, what’s not to love?

Next, let’s head into New London to check out the gorgeous view of Mill Pond Beach. This is a popular area to fish, kayak, ride the trails, and to enjoy some unique shopping!

And last, but definitely not least, let’s head over to Spicer to see an aerial view of the extremely popular Green Lake, Saulsbury Beach County Park, and Pirrotta Park in Downtown Spicer. If you happen through Spicer during their annual 4th of July Celebration or Spicer Winterfest, you’ll see it bustling with people and activities galore!
