Happy Hour Ideas in the Willmar Lakes Area
Our local restaurants, shops and attractions are open and have taken measures to ensure your safety. As of July 25, 2020, Minnesota has implemented a state wide mask mandate. (Click here for more details on the mask mandate). So while enjoying our many fun activities and events, please remember to wear your mask when indoors or where ever you aren’t able to be socially distant.
Let’s Be Active
Need an emotional lift? Or need to blow off some steam after a stressful day? A gym session or brisk walk can help. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier, more relaxed and less anxious. So join one of the many fitness and wellness centers in the Willmar Lakes Area and start creating a healthier and happier YOU. Many of them are even offering online classes and workout routines as well.
Fun for the Whole Family
Looking for a fun, family activity for the holidays? Reserve an interactive movie kit from the Willmar Public Library here. Each kit includes an interactive movie script, a bag of microwave popcorn, and props for up to 6 participants. *Limit 1 per week per household.
Spend an afternoon at Robbins Island Regional Park with the kids and take in the StoryWalk as you stroll around the perimeter of the Willmar Destination Playground. Enjoy a night of live trivia every other Thursday night with the staff of the Willmar Public Library. Join their Facebook Group and play live online trivia solo or assemble a team. These events are for ages 18+.
Do you like puzzles? Why not give our Willmar Lakes Area puzzles a try or check out the Kandiyohi County Historical Society’s puzzles. Compete against your friends and family to see who can solve them the quickest.
