March 1 – Uffda Cooking Presents A Winter’s Night
Reserve your spot for this exclusive culinary experience! You’ll get to enjoy a 7-course tasting menu complete with specialty cocktails and live music by Ava Hanson. And while enjoying your Winter Night, you’ll be happy to know a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

March 1 – Mardi Gras Party at Cheers
Come dressed in those Mardi Gras colors, sparkles, feathers or a mask! Plan to dance the evening away with DJ Dan Burns, and enjoy some authentic southern gumbo and the traditional Mardi Gras dessert, King Cake! Ain’t no party, like a Mardi Gras party! See y’all there!

March 2 – Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra Presents “Masterworks”
Come enjoy an afternoon of great music performed by the Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra at the Willmar Education and Arts Center (WEAC). They will feature their principal violist, Joshua Pierskalla, who will be playing Telemann’s wonderful Viola Concerto in G Major! In addition, we will be playing works by Beethoven, Martines, Hayden and Bologne! Don’t miss this wonderful afternoon of music!

March 6-7 – NL-S High School Presents “Beanstalk! The Play!”
This fun family show follows the adventures of Jack, a young boy with his head in the clouds and his nose in a book of fairytales. When the magic beans Jack trades for the family cow grow into a gigantic beanstalk, Jack finally gets the chance to have a fairytale adventure of this own.

March 7-8 – Annual Novice Bonspiel at the Willmar Civic Center
Join the Glacial Ridge Curling Club for their 17th Annual Novice Bonspiel! Whether you’re participating in the bonspiel or there to watch, make sure you purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2025 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Premium, a $5000 Vacation Package from Willmar Travel or ten cash prizes of $500!

March 8 – CatPAC Series: “An Evening with Groucho”
Award-winning actor, Frank Ferrante, recreates his PBS, New York, and London acclaimed stage portrayal of legendary comedian, Groucho Marx. The hilarious show features the best Groucho one-liners, anecdotes, and songs. Perfect for all ages!

March 14-15 – CCS Presents: “Our Town”
Willmar Community Christian School will perform “Our Town” on Friday, March 14th at 6:30 PM and Saturday, March 15th at 1:30 and 6:30 PM. “Our Town” is a three-act play written by American playwright Thornton Wilder in 1938. It explores the lives of the people of the fictional New Hampshire town of Grover’s Corners. The play is considered an American classic and one of the greatest American plays ever written.

March 15 – St. Patrick’s Day Red Beard Run/Walk
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a run! After the race enjoy a meal and a beer. Beer will be served in a keepsake Red Beard Run pint glass. Pint glasses are available for the first 200 runners. Register today and start planning your fun St. Patrick’s Day outfit to run in!

March 15 – St. Patrick’s Day Parties
There are a lot of ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year in the Willmar Lakes Area. Stop by Intuition Brewing for their celebration with green beer being served all day and live music with Melana at 6pm. You can also head to The Handle Bar in Atwater for their St. Patrick’s Party with music, games, and drink specials all day long. Another fantastic way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is by dancing the night away to the music of the Tanner Stark Duo with special guest Brady Moryn from County Line at the Spicer American Legion!

March 17 – Mid-Minnesota Toast
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day during the first innaugural Mid-Minnesota Toast! This beer event will feature unlimited samplings from our local breweries – Foxhole Brewhouse, Goat Ridge Brewing Co. & Intuition Brewing! Attendees will receive a commemorative glass for their tastings and a limited menu will be available for an additional cost. Click the event title for more details!

March 24 – Rend Collective Folk! Tour
The internationally known christian recording group, Rend Collective, is coming to Living Hope Church in Willmar! Hailing from a small town off the coast of Northern Ireland, Rend Collective wants to be known as a celebration band, worshiping for God’s Glory and fame. Since the release of their first album, Organic Family Hymnal, the group’s authentic and energetic style of worship has attracted an international audience, with career sales of more than 300,000 albums. March 29-30 – West Central Singers Spring Concert
Enjoy a variety of songs throughout the years from the West Central Singers March 29th at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer and on March 30th at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Tickets are available at the door.

And continuing throughout the month of March are Willmar WarHawk Home Games, karaoke nights at area bars, trivia nights at area breweries, and live music at a variety of restaurants/bars.
