Reservations for camping for the 2026 season starts on Tuesday, January 20th at 10 AM. For the 1st week, it will only be open for those that are booking for at least 30 days and more. Starting on Tuesday, January 27th, it opens 100% to all reservations.

Welcome to Kandiyohi County! A convenient place to vacation and enjoy the many fresh-water lakes where boating, fishing and camping can be enjoyed at any of our six county parks. Each campground also has a beautiful swimming beach for guests to enjoy!

Diamond Lake County Park (formerly County Park #3) is located on the western shore of Diamond Lake and is known for its lunker walleye and scrappy northern. Diamond Lake County Park is approximately 4 miles north of Atwater or 6 miles southeast of Spicer. Diamond Lake County Park has a newly renovated store, parking lot and beach. Another great asset to this park is the new trail that you can take a bike cruise or an evening walk around part of the lake. All the summer enjoyments are offered. Diamond Lake County Park has 60 campsites. Seasonal rates available.
