The Willmar Stingers baseball team is a member of the Northwoods League. The Stingers play their home games on Baker Field at Bill Taunton Stadium in Willmar. Enjoy great stadium food and drinks while watching some exciting Northwoods League Baseball.

The Willmar Stingers are thrilled to announce the schedule for the highly anticipated 2026 Northwoods League season. The action kicks off on Monday, May 25th, with the Stingers visiting the Mankato MoonDogs for their season opener. Fans can mark their calendars for the team’s home opener vs. Minot Hot Tots, set for Wednesday, May 27th, at Bill Taunton Stadium.

Bill Taunton Stadium will transition to a fully cashless operation for the 2026 season, creating a faster and more convenient fan experience at all hospitality areas, the Rambow Gift Shop, and ticketing areas.

Beginning Opening Day, all purchases inside Bill Taunton Stadium will require payment by credit card, debit card, or mobile payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash will no longer be accepted at stadium points of sale.

To assist fans who may still bring cash to the ballpark, a reverse ATM will be available inside the Rambow Gift Shop. Fans can convert cash into a gift card that can be used throughout the stadium during Stingers games and events.

Fans attending games are encouraged to plan ahead by bringing a card or mobile payment option for all stadium purchases.

Single game tickets for the home opener and all 2026 games will go on sale starting Friday, May 1st . Fans are encouraged to secure their seats early, as the Stingers’ games are expected to draw large crowds once again this season.

Season ticket options include:
Kwik Trip Mini Plan – 5 or 7 games (includes meal vouchers)
Half Season Plan – 17 games
Full Season Plan – 34 games

Effective immediately, every fan attending a Stingers home game can redeem their game ticket for a complimentary Kids Zone wristband. Fans simply need to present their game ticket at the Rambow Gift Shop to receive a Kids Zone wristband, which provides unlimited access to the bounce house and speed pitch throughout the game.
