Little Crow Archers of Willmar is an organization dedicated to promoting the sport of archery and bowhunting. Proudly serving the Willmar Lakes Area for over 70 years, we are excited to continue growing our tradition of fellowship, skill development, and community involvement. Our indoor archery range is home to individuals and families who enjoy spending time together while participating in the sport of archery. Many of our members are MSAA state record holders, and whether you are a beginner or an experienced archer, our club is here to help you improve your skills and confidence on the range.

Our indoor and outdoor facilities are also made available to youth organizations, providing opportunities to learn the basics of archery or simply enjoy shooting for fun. For young archers just starting out, we offer youth bows to use while at the range. Our members are always willing to lend a hand, share their knowledge, and help new shooters feel welcome. In 2023, as part of our 70th anniversary celebration, we proudly moved into our new location at the Uptown Mall in Willmar. That same year, we also celebrated the 15th anniversary of hosting the annual West Central Bowhunter 60 3D Shoot, held each August at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center in collaboration with the Swift County Archers.

Indoor leagues begin in early January and run through April. We offer a Target League, Vegas League, and a 3D Bowhunter League, along with a kids-only league on Sunday afternoons. All leagues are scored using a handicap system, allowing new shooters to compete fairly alongside more experienced archers. A spring 3D league is offered in April/May, along with a fall 3D shoot for those who enjoy shooting outdoors. Annual membership includes a key to the indoor range, providing 24-hour access (excluding scheduled events and tournaments). With this privilege comes the responsibility to follow all posted rules and respect the range. Please note that broadheads are strictly prohibited at all ranges, and failure to follow rules may result in loss of membership privileges. Members also receive our quarterly newsletter and membership in the Minnesota State Archery Association (MSAA), which includes a subscription to The Minnesota Arrow magazine.

We invite you to attend our annual Open House in December or reach out to a board member to learn more about getting involved. Whether you’re an experienced archer or picking up a bow for the first time, Little Crow Archers welcomes you to be part of our long-standing tradition and growing community.
