Lake Florida is located 6 miles west of Spicer. There are two public access sites present on Florida with one boat ramp along the north side (DNR) and one shore fishing site on the west side. Walleyes are stocked every other year in Lake Florida.  Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center is located near the southeast shoreline area.  Dickerson’s Lake Florida Resort is located on the east shore of the lake.
