The Fitness Court at Sperry Park is a place for the whole community to enjoy. It offers more than 2,000 square feet of space designed for all ages 14 and up and all fitness levels. One side of the court features bodyweight exercise stations for individual workouts, while the other side serves as a studio space for group activities like yoga, Zumba, and community classes that bring people together.

Just steps away, families and friends can also enjoy six pickleball courts, giving neighbors of all ages another fun way to stay active. Adding to the welcoming atmosphere is a colorful mural titled “Out and About” by local artist Sonja Madsen. Her artwork highlights the diversity of Willmar and celebrates the connection we all share through nature, movement, and community.

The project was made possible thanks to the support of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, the National Fitness Campaign, and Willmar Parks and Recreation. Together, they’ve helped create a space where health, wellness, and community spirit come alive for everyone.
