Prairie Arts Chorale Spring Concert: “Words of Wisdom”
Prairie Arts Chorale, Singers of Southwestern Minnesota, under the direction of Brandon Hurley, invites you to attend one of our five area concerts this spring “Words of Wisdom.”
Throughout history, wisdom has always been given to those in need whether it was asked for or not! This concert program is meant to explore wisdom that has been passed down through music over the years and today. All sorts of career, family, life, and love advice has been given in such songs as “You Learn” , “You Can’t Hurry Love”, and “Lean on Me,” which are just a few hits that have attempted to help audience members grow wiser. While advice is more freely given than accepted, we hope listeners walk away not only with Broadway and popular tunes in their ears, but a sense of how music has helped influence us in ways we may have never thought about before.
