Join Sibley staff and The Sibley State Park Improvement Association to remove buckthorn found in the park.

Meet at the Sibley Interpretive Center at 9:30a.m. Bring gloves and safety glasses if you have them. Please dress for working outdoors and in dense shrubbery. Lunch will be provided by the Sibley State Park Improvement Association. Buckthorn is an invasive plant that can displace many shrubs, tall grasses, and small trees. The dense shrubbery threatens the future of our native ecosystems, like the Oak Savannas of the park. Be an Oak Savanna Hero and help remove this invasive plant!
