Calling all young artists!

Join us this summer for Kids Art Camp – Learning Basics, a fun and creative 8-week camp designed to build strong art foundations while encouraging imagination and confidence. Throughout camp, artists will explore a wide variety of techniques and styles, including:

– Understanding the Color Wheel & color mixing
– Drawing in perspective
– Outdoor sketching and nature studies
– Creative advertising & design projects
– Learning about famous artists and art styles
– Watercolor techniques (including a mixed media Cherry Blossom project!)
– Charcoal drawing, blending, and shading
– A final project in their favorite medium to bring home

Our instructor is a skilled and passionate artist who gained her own art confidence by taking classes just like this when she was young. She understands how meaningful creative encouragement can be and is excited to help young artists grow in skill, creativity, and self-confidence. Our goal is to help blossom each child’s artistic abilities in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Dates: Mondays July 6, 13, 20, 27 & August 3, 10, 17, 24
Time: 1:00–3:30 PM
Cost: $85 (includes all supplies and a take-home art bag!)
Appropriate for ages 8-13 yrs old.
