WHAT IS THE SHOP HOP?
The All Minnesota Shop Hop brings together sewing and quilting enthusiasts from across Minnesota and neighboring states. The event will run April 1 through May 31 in 2026. The All Minnesota Shop Hop Magazine is your guide to all things about the event, participating stores and sponsors. The Magazine also includes valuable patterns, projects and articles along with the official passport and maps. Each participating store offers the exclusive Shop Hop fabric, along with other give-aways, raffles and prizes. Participants have their passport stamped at each store they visit to qualify for additional prizes. Check out these Frequently Asked Questions.

1. GET THE MAGAZINE
Visit any of our participating stores to get your All Minnesota Shop Hop Magazine. It features everything you need for your Great Sewing Adventures™. Many stores will also sell the magazine online.

• Magazines will be available about 6 weeks before the event begins at participating Shop Hop Stores.
• Besides an Official Passport and Map of Stores, the magazine contains patterns, articles and other resources for sewing and quilting.
• The magazine notes special Shop Hop store hours and Regional and State maps that make it easy to plan your route.
• Each person in your party will need a passport in order to register for prizes.
• You’ll want to reference your magazine all year. Use it to find a quilt shop whenever you are meandering the country roads of Minnesota. Be inspired by the patterns, projects and articles.

2. 2026 EXCLUSIVE SHOP HOP FABRICS
The 2026 All Minnesota Shop Hop™ features an exclusive line of fabrics by Maywood Studio.  These designs were made especially for this event and can be found only at our participating stores.  Shop Hop exclusive fabrics often sell out, so be sure to pick up what you need for your projects early during the Shop Hop! Many stores will offer fabric pre-sales. You can order your fabrics early, then pick them up after the Shop Hop begins on April 1.

This year’s fabrics are a literal patchwork of Minnesota country themes. A large panel incorporates smaller barn scene and state map sections. Complimenting prints include chickens, crops, barns/tractors and a patchwork of all the country motifs. Mini flower prints in three colors and a county word toss in two colors are also included. Eight blender fabrics of five solids, two dots and one gingham round out the collection.

Design ideas and patterns using these fabrics will be featured in our All Minnesota Shop Hop Magazine and on our pattern download page. Our stores also put together many projects, patterns and kits. Look for these during your Great Sewing Adventures™ across Minnesota. We look forward to seeing what you create with our 2026 fabrics!

3. THANK YOU GIFTS:
Present your passport during the Shop Hop at each participating store to receive a free thank-you gift. Each store has their own version of the gift, so you must visit all the stores to collect an entire set. Visit the prizes page for details. Printed quilt squares, quilt block pattern cards, and sewing-theme note cards are some of the thank-you gifts planned for this year’s Shop Hop events.

4. EARN PRIZES
Besides all the fun you will have traveling throughout Minnesota and visiting our stores, you can also WIN PRIZES by participating in the All Minnesota Shop Hop™! Our stores and industry sponsors provide hundreds of great prizes each year.

Qualifying for Prizes
Visit any participating store to get your copy of the All Minnesota Shop Hop Magazine. It features everything you need for your Great Sewing Adventures™ — an official passport and map, information on participating stores, special shop hop hours, free patterns highlighting our exclusive fabrics, inspiring articles and more!

• • Present your passport in person to be stamped at each participating store you visit.
  • One stamp per customer per store.
  • No purchase is necessary to play!
  • Participants must be age 18 or older.
  • A special youth passport is available for young sewers ages 8 to 17! Pick one up at participating Shop Hop stores.
  • Only one passport may be submitted by a participant. In other words, two or more passports may NOT be combined to achieve prize levels.
