The Poetry Bus Stops in New London

at Little Theatre Auditorium

THE POETRY BUS is visiting New London on Thursday, August 8th!
Join them at the for poetry-on-demand at the Goat Ridge Brewery at 4 pm or here at the Little Theatre at 7:00 pm.

On the bus will be Michael Kleber-Diggs (michaelkleberdiggs.com), Sara Dovre Wudali (saradovrewudali.com), Su Love (sulove.org) and Athena Kildegaard (athenakildegaard.com), four poets who are friends and admirers of one another’s poetry, poetics, and creative powers. The Poetry Bus will be sharing readings, write poems on demand, and proselytize about the value of poetry. Poetry is their vehicle for communicating the sorrow and the sweet of ordinary lives.

Athena Kildegaard is a fiscal year 2025 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
