A centrally located 2.25 acre park within the city, Rice Park has a number of different amenities for a variety of age groups and recreational interests. Rice Park has plenty of Green Space for picnics and play. And with a playground full of structures for climbing, obstacles, swings and slides, this playground keeps children entertained no matter what the age.

The Rice Park Splash Pad offers sprinkler-like water sprays providing fun for everyone. Located near the playground of Rice Park, these FREE amenities are popular spots on a hot summer day! With blooming flowers sprinkling and spouting water along the way, the Splash Pad at Rice Park is a great way to cool off when the temperatures soar. A section of the pad is geared for 3-5 year olds along side the other areas geared for all ages to enjoy. Changing rooms and restrooms are available on site as well as a 3-Season Shelter that can be rented through Willmar Community Ed & Rec. The Splash Pad and changing rooms are open from 10am to 8pm daily through Labor Day.
