Sibley State Park Trail Report for 9-15-16

The fall color season is in full swing at Sibley, with some trees nearing the halfway point of overall peak fall color. The prairies are approaching peak shades of gold, and the blend of color from the woodlands, prairies and wetlands is spectacular. Begin at the park’s interpretive center for a park map, then make your way to Mount Tom for a panoramic view of Sibley and beyond. For abundant wildlife and wildflowers, travel the Pondview Trail. Sibley will offer numerous programs this weekend including a Full Moon & Mercury Hike, and a Fall Colors Hike.
