Sibley State Park Trail Report for 2-27-18

Ski trails are in good to fair condition. Recent snow has provided enough snow to groom a majority of the ski trails. The Mt Tom road has a four inch base on the skate ski portion and a little less where track was set. Other trails have been packed and track set but some debris is still visible in the track. Because of the daily change in temperature and weather, skiers may encounter some trails that have not firmed up adequately. The Pond View hiking/snowshoe trail has been packed. The sledding hill is snow covered with 1 – 5 inches of fresh snow. The hill was last packed on Friday. Snowmobile trails have been groomed. Riders should still watch for the orange reassurance signs and not venture off of designated trails. There have been a few sleds out enjoying the fresh snow. Local snow depth is 11″.
