Sibley State Park Trail Report for 12-31-18

As of Monday, December 31st, Sibley has not had adequate snow to groom the ski trails. On Friday staff packed most of the trails and on Monday leveled the trails with the leveling drag but with less than an inch of snow the trails could not be groomed or track set. The wooded areas have a 2 inch packed base but open areas have a 0 – 1 inch packed base. We will update trail status when we get additional snowfall. The sliding hill is snow covered and packed. Snowmobile trails are mostly snow covered but un-groomed. Snowmobilers should use extra caution on area lakes.
