Fishing Report for 9-11-18

Fewer anglers have been out to the lakes lately. Those finding time to search for the fish are catching walleye on Green Lake and panfish on Nest, Eagle, and Diamond lakes. This past Sunday was the West Central Bassmasters Green Lake Fall Classic with 50 boats registered. Both large and smallmouth bass were caught with the average size being 12-14 inches. Only a couple were caught that were 15 inches long. We are looking forward to the fall cool down as the fish should be more active and hungry at that time. Meanwhile, enjoy the summer-like weather we’re having in the Willmar Lakes Area!
