Fishing Report for 5-9-17
Looks to be an awesome fishing opener in the Willmar Lakes Area! The fish are biting and the weather is expected to be gorgeous! If you plan on shore fishing, head on out to Willmar Lake, Foot Lake, Eagle Lake or Green Lake to catch some great panfish action! Anglers reported a really good crappie bite on Big Kandiyohi Lake, Nest Lake and Diamond Lake. With temperatures in the 70s the surface water should be reaching 60 degrees this weekend which should get the fish moving nicely. Have a great fishing opener!
