Fishing Report for 9-20-16
There are few fishermen out these days as folks have gotten into their regular routines now with school and kids. However, the fall bite can be one of the best fishing of the year. Anglers that have been out are reporting catching some large perch and walleye from Big Kandiyohi Lake, South Long Lake and Solomon Lake. Willmar Lake and Foot Lake are still producing some nice sized crappie near the culverts and the bass have been crazy on Eagle Lake, Diamond Lake and Green Lake. The water temperatures in our area are ranging between 65-68 degrees right now. This would be a great time to take advantage of the calm and quiet waters and experience some great fall fishing in the Willmar Lakes Area!
