Fishing Report for 3-28-17
Spring fishing is starting to heat up in the Willmar Lakes Area. This week’s warm weather and sunshine should bring the fish up to the shallow waters. The most common shore spots for fishing are the west side of Norway Lake, Elkhorn Bay, the Nest Lake Bay under the bridge and the fish trap on Lake Florida. Wax worms and crappie minnows are a great way to catch the attention of the hungry panfish. It’s looking to be a great weekend to get the boat out and join the spring fishing frenzy!
