Fishing Report for 5-10-16
We’re ready for the walleye opener this weekend in the Willmar Lakes Area! The water temperature of most area lakes is between 55-60 degrees. Panfishing picked up last week with the warm weather and has slowed just a bit this week with the cool weather. With the warm weather crappies moved up to the docks and were active on George Lake, Eagle Lake and Lake Florida. If it happens to be a bit windy this weekend, try fishing some of the smaller lakes such as Lake Andrew, Lake Florida, George Lake, Lake Henderson, Eagle Lake, Diamond Lake and Elkhorn Lake. Stop by 71 Bait & Sports for all your fishing needs including your bait for the weekend: spot tail shiners, small sucker minnows, rainbow minnows and fathead minnows. Enjoy the Fishing Opener!!!.
