Yoga this Month
September has 5 in-person sessions to choose from, all in the theme of Yoga Reset, and all in New London or Spicer. (I’ll add these sessions online for Patreon subscribers at the Yoga Hero level.) Here are the details: https://yogareset.square.site/ (and info pasted below).
Yoga Resets will be Tuesday and Saturday:
Tuesdays 5:30 – 7 PM at Goat Ridge Brewing Co in New London – $30
Saturdays 7:30 – 9 AM at Urban Escape Event Space in Spicer – $25
We’ll stay socially distanced to practice moderate/intense yoga for 1.5 hrs followed by treats. In Spicer, we’ll have the smoothie or juice of your choice from WYSIWYG, and in New London, we’ll have a bottle of kombucha and to-go salad. So grab a friend or join solo, just make sure to RSVP to this limited event — only 10 participants are allowed to practice each session. All levels of fitness are welcome and will surely have an amazing time. You’ll begin your weekend feeling invigorated and full of energy (plus vitamins!).
Who is teaching? Me (Candice). I am a yoga teacher who hosts yoga classes in amazing spaces all over the world. To enjoy this class, you will want to have some familiarity with yoga, typical fitness and/or stretching poses.
Who can participate? Everyone is welcome to participate, and those who do must (1) Register in advance as class size is limited to 10 with no exceptions. (2) Wear a mask when entering and exiting the building, and any other time you’re off your mat; masks can be removed on the mat. (3) Maintain social distancing and place mats in marked positions on the floor of the practice space.
Where will we practice? Tuesdays, we will practice in New London’s Goat Ridge Brewing Company, on the main floor which will be completely cleared, cleaned, and ready for us upon arrival. Enter through the front door. Saturdays, we will practice in Urban Escape’s Event Space, accessible through the door on the freeway side of the building. Enter through the doors on the freeway side of the building.
What is included? On Tuesdays, 1.5 moderate/intense yoga and a bottle of Deane’s kombucha plus a large, fresh, delicious salad from GRB’s kitchen. On Saturdays, 1.5 moderate/intense yoga and your choice of smoothie or juice from WYSIWYG.
What to bring with? Bring a Yoga Mat or Big Towel, Water, Sweat Towel/Mat Towel, and a Hair Tie/Headband.
