TIME: All workshops start at 6pm and last between 1-2 hours

Here’s the Schedule for the FREE Workshops:
Feb. 26 – Sound
– Instructor Bob Thompson. Learn about running sound in the booth. Work with the computer, sound board, and mics to balance sound levels and hit sound cues during a show.

Feb. 29 – Lighting
– Instructor Patrick Gilmore. Learn how to hang, set, and program lights for a show. Work with the light board and learn how to run lights for a production.

March 4 – Set Design/Build
– Instructor Keith Green. Bring a set to life, first with smart design, then with basic building skills. Work with tools and materials to construct the director’s vision.

March 10 – Director’s Roundtable
– Final list of directors TBD. Join past Barn Theatre directors for a roundtable discussion of the process, their experiences, and advice. Ask the burning questions you have about directing.

March 12 – Acting
– Instructor Tamara McClintock. Become someone else on stage with this acting class. Learn the basics, tips, and tricks to elevate your performance.

March 18 – Auditions
– Instructor Alison Finstrom. Get the casting director to take note of you and your skills. Manage your nerves, present a confident face, and land the role of your dreams.

March 19 – Stage Managing
– Instructor Melissa Mangen. Learn what it takes to assist a director through a show. Manage actors, schedules, props, backstage and more.

March 25 – Costumes
– Instructor Lynsey Pierce. Learn how to costume for a show. See what costumes the Barn Theatre has stored away, and what to consider when working with a diverse cast and the director’s vision for a show.
