2022 Promise 5K Bensky’s Race
on Saturday, October 29th at 10:00am
at Robbins Island Regional Park

On October 29th, run or walk in the 2022 Promise 5K Bensky’s Race!

The Promise 5K is an annual event held in effort to raise funds and awareness for the work of Children of the Promise in Northern Haiti. This year, the 4th Annual Promise 5K will be held at Robbins Island Park in Willmar, Minnesota. In addition to the great outdoors, enjoy a slice of pie at the Pie-K, stick around for prize drawings, and browse Haitian-made artwork. It will be a fun day for all!

Not local to the Willmar area? No problem!
There is also the Promise 5K Virtual Run/Walk, which can be completed in your own neighborhood, at a local park, or even the treadmill. Virtual participants will also be eligible for prize drawings.

Share the news with your friends, create or join a team, and register to run with purpose!

Thanks to our sponsors, all registration fees and free-will donations go directly toward Children of the Promise’s family preservation and orphan care work in Haiti.

GET ONE, GIVE ONE:
When you register for the Promise 5K or purchase a shirt through Bensky’s Race, you also cover the cost of a shirt for a child in Haiti! On September 24, the children on our campus and in our school will participate in a day of race activities while wearing these same shirts.
*Size availability is on a first come, first serve basis.

EVENT: BENSKY’S RACE: KIDS FUN RUN
The Kids Fun Run will be held prior to the Promise 5K at Robbins Island Regional Park. Thanks to our sponsor, Miles4Mentor, registration is free!
Starting this year, the Kids Fun Run is named in honor of a boy named Bensky.
Bensky lived much of his life at COTP, and during that time, he found his purpose. Even though he couldn’t walk, he lived a life of motion and impact.
Bensky tragically passed away in 2021. His life left a mark on many!
Open to ages 10 and under.
Start Time: 9:30am
