Come and learn about the Outerplace project, produced by Todd Anderson and Heather King. Learn how to be a part of the project through photos and stories, a podcast and website, or how someone you know could be a part of it.

Listen as Todd and Heather interview local rural folks about their experiences, triumphs and trials while living rurally.
Outerplace is a project meant to feature rural life and rural people as they really are; eclectic, interesting and multi-faceted!
We’re not just here for the hotdish!

Join Todd Anderson and Heather King as they reveal their new creative project, Outerplace: Portraits of Rural Lives. The Outerplace Event is an opportunity to learn about a project that features portraits (photos) of people living rurally, while telling their stories through a podcast, website, Instagram, and Facebook. Think Humans of New York for country folk! We all have a story (stories) to tell! The event will include a conversation from the stage with three people living rurally; what does it mean to “live rural,” what are the benefits, and what are struggles that arise from living rural. There will also be a sneak peek at some portraits and the podcast as well as a time to join in if you’d like your photo taken for an Instagram feature.
