“Boot Scootin’ Betrayal” by Cole Stahl

This murder mystery is not a normal stage play. It is part scripted – part improv – all fun. Actors will mingle with guests who are seated at their tables. The action takes place around the room and chatting up the guests in character is encouraged. The mystery unfolds throughout the evening through character conversations, arguments, accusations, and yes murder.

The set up: The Rusty Spur Ranch, a dusty event barn nestled in the outskirts of town, hosts its annual Wild West barn dance—known for cheap whiskey, rowdy music, and a little too much gossip. What was supposed to be a night of boot-scootin’ fun turns deadly when the infamous ranch owner, Buck Beauregard, is murdered. Who did it?
