This class requires hand strength to hold a darning needle and ability to use your shoulder, elbow, and wrist movements to weave.
There is repetitive motion. Students are able to take breaks whenever needed.
During this class you will learn to “warp” a simple loom, tie on & off & weave using yarns. Using a darning needle weave single & multiple colors, add texture using yarn & finish off your weaving using a driftwood piece from the North Shore or a dowel. If the student wishes to bring their own yarn to combine with available yarns, you are welcome to do so. I recommend that you do not bring fancy textured yarns for this class.
