Intro to Off Road Biking

Learn to take your pavement riding to the off road trails! This is a great way to explore the newly developed off road bike trails at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center. The program session will cover bicycle safety check, body positioning, pedaling and shifting, braking techniques, as well as trail etiquette.

This class is for those who are already comfortable riding a bike on flat and even terrain.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
Fat tire bikes with helmet are available to rent from PWELC for a small fee, please select this registration option if needed.

Required gear: Mountain bike, Bike helmet, Closed toe shoes
Recommended gear: Water bottle and Weather appropriate layers
